Profile of a graduate of the Heating and Gas Systems specialization

The graduate has in-depth knowledge and skills in modern methods of designing and managing heating and gas systems, including emerging CO2 and H2 pipeline transport systems. He also has detailed knowledge in the field of energy generation, storage and use, including energy from renewable sources and energy conversion methods. Has knowledge and skills in GIS applications, simulation, optimization, network hydraulics and risk management in fluid networks. Is able to design gas transmission and distribution networks as well as heat/cooling distribution networks, has good knowledge of control, measurement and regulation equipment as well as modern technologies in the construction and operation of heating and gas networks. Is able to solve problems in the field of thermal, gas and hydrogen energy, including hydraulic analyzes of networks, energy analyzes of sources, and economic analyzes of investment projects, independently and collaboratively in a team, using modern IT tools and project management methods. Has the ability to think critically and creatively and make decisions. The graduate knows development trends in the field of energy systems and understands the need to improve their own qualifications.
