Specialization: Heating and Gas Networks

Changes in the energy sectors in connection with the energy transformation and new opportunities resulting from integrated planning, operation and modeling of energy systems (heating systems, gas systems, 2 and CO 2 transport ) became the motivation to create a new specialization in the field of Environmental Engineering at the University of Technology Warszawska.

Recruitment for the 2024/2025 academic year is ongoing!

(Attention Candidates: We offer a flexible schedule of classes taking into account the needs of working people. Registration for the second cycle of studies can be done before the defense of the engineering thesis)

Graduate profile

The graduate has in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of modern methods of designing and managing heating and gas systems, including emerging pipeline transport systems of biomethane, 2 and CO 2 . He also has detailed knowledge in the field of energy generation, storage and use, including energy from renewable sources and energy conversion methods. See the profile of the SCiG graduate in the tab .

Teaching tasks related to the new specialization, as well as scientific activities in the area of research on the engineering of heating and gas systems, are carried out at the Department of Heating and Gas Systems, operating at the Faculty of Building Installations, Hydrotechnics and Environmental Engineering.
